There are several elements to food labelling and making sure your products clearly show the correct allergens is essential. There are 14 main allergens which you need to label.
Containing gluten – including wheat, rye, barley and oats
Such as prawns, crabs and lobsters
Such as mussels and oysters
Including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts
If they are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million
