Label, Finish & Adhesive
As the label is made from Polypropylene it is suitable for normal recycling when uncoated, with gloss varnish or laminate finishes (which are Polypropylene based). The adhesive is removed in the recycling process.
Backing Release Paper
This can be recycled by using a specialist process which “washes off” the silicone or other release agent allowing the pulp to be recycled. Only specialised recyclers can do this, and you would need to check with your recycling authority. Sticker Gizmo is Certified Zero Label Waste to Landfill, so all our label waste is recycled in this way.

Transparent VinylFull Colour Print and White Ink

Clear vinyl labels and stickers are fully waterproof making them the ideal option for product packaging and general use. You have a choice of finishes with gloss varnish and gloss or matte laminate which provides extra protection to the inks from UV and chemicals.

Full colour print and white ink is included in the price so there are no hidden costs when ordering clear vinyl labels. White ink is used to print underneath standard colours to ensure your design is bold and opaque. It can also be used on its own if your clear vinyl labels have white elements that need to be visible.

We print everything in-house, so we have complete control of quality and delivery ensuring you get the perfect clear vinyl labels and an amazing customer experience every time.

Clear Vinyl Labels & Stickers – Strong & Versatile

Our clear vinyl labels are printed on a tough PP (polypropylene) based vinyl. In its standard form the material has a nice glossy finish to it, this can be further exaggerated by choosing the gloss laminate option which also offers added protection against chemicals and scratches. Our matte laminate covers the glossy appearance leaving the labels with a smooth and almost frosted appearance. Our most popular and cost-effective finish option is the gloss varnish. This is a quick drying coating that is applied after the labels have been printed. Its seals in the print and protects the labels from wear. The material is offered with a strong permanent adhesive which is suitable for use in and outdoors. Clear vinyl labels work well on clear packaging, as product seals or as logo stickers.

How do we print on our clear vinyl labels?

We offer full colour print and white ink as standard at no extra cost. White ink is used underneath all standard colours to improve boldness and ensure full opacity. If requested the white ink underprint step can be skipped which means all standard colours would appear translucent (excluding black). White ink can also be used on its own if your design has white elements that need to be seen. A single design could include all 3 of the techniques above. Along with white ink, black ink used on its own will be opaque. If you are unsure about any of the above please contact us here.

Things to remember

If you are going to be sticking your clear vinyl labels onto a dark surface, please ensure your design is made up of colours that will be visible. The design will need to be made up of bright shades that will need to have white ink printed underneath them. Standard colours without the white underprint won’t be visible against dark backgrounds. It’s also important that your artwork is provided in a vector format such as a .eps, .pdf or .ai file. This allows us to add in the white ink underprint and make any other changes if required. When ordering clear vinyl labels you can choose a standard shape or for no extra cost you can choose the custom shape option and we will cut your clear labels to any shape!

Yes. We can print white ink on its own or it can be printed underneath other colours to improve boldness.

However, we offer extremely attractive volume discounts which will be shown when you get your price.

So, if you can, it is always better to order more less often to save money!

Delivery & Production


Delivery - The time it takes for you to receive your order after we have dispatched.

United Kingdom

Delivery is free on all orders.

Orders under £100.00 inc. VAT are sent on a 48-hour service by Royal Mail with proof of delivery. You can upgrade to a next day tracked service for an additional cost and you will see this option when you checkout.

Orders over £100.00 inc. VAT are sent on an anytime next day tracked service.

Express orders are sent on a next day tracked service with the option of a pre-10.30am delivery.

Free samples are sent by Royal Mail first class post.

International Orders

We deliver to most EU countries (see below) and the cost is calculated at checkout. Orders are sent Delivery Duty Paid by FedEx on a tracked service which will take between 5-7 days.

Production - The time it takes us to print your order.

Standard Production - 6 days

We aim to dispatch your order in a maximum of 6 working days.

For example, if you placed an order on Monday, it would be dispatched on the following Monday. This is the maximum time it will take to dispatch your order and usually orders are dispatched quicker. If you have a deadline then please contact one of our team as we always try to help.

Express Production - 2 days

We dispatch your order in a maximum of 2 working days.

For example, if you placed your order on Monday it would be dispatched on Wednesday.

You have two delivery options:

1. Anytime next day tracked service

2. Pre 10.30am next day tracked service

The additional cost of this service will be shown when you checkout.

Specialist Materials - Free

For certain specialist materials the production time can be a slightly longer and it may take up to a maximum of 12 working days for your order to be dispatched.

Artwork and Proofing

At the time of placing your order you have the choice of uploading or emailing your artwork.

There is also an option for reorders where we already have previously printed.

Proofing

All new orders with artwork we have not previously printed, and some reorders will need to be approved before we print.

You will get an email with a link to our automated proofing service which is quick and easy to use to approve or request changes.

Standard Production

You need to provide your artwork and approve your proof (if required) within 24 hours of placing your order. Any delay in doing this or if your artwork is not print ready may delay your order.

Express Production

Your print ready artwork must be supplied with your order before 1pm on the day of ordering (unless it is a reorder and we have your artwork). You will then receive a digital proof by email which must be signed off before 4pm.

Artwork Requirements

It is especially important that your artwork is of good enough quality otherwise your labels or stickers may be compromised. If we feel your artwork needs improving, we will contact you before we print and make any changes for free, but this may delay your order.

Design Changes

As part of our service, we can update existing designs for free once an order has been placed. However, we do have a fair use policy and reserve the right to charge if the design work is extensive.
